Never the Same Band
Never The Same Band was formed in 2009.
During the last 10 years, we have gone through multiple talented musicians and singers. The group now, have been together for about 4 years playing strong.
When the group first started, they would play music like “Proud Mary” by “Tina Turner” but the words were changed, it was a ‘shock’ factor in the juvenile and homeless facilities. The music gets the kids attention that’s for sure, and they would perk up. Like I have said before, “we are an ‘out of the box’ ministry”.
I have had juveniles from the facilities they’re in, before we would leave, come up and ask me, “when is your group coming back”? That is a testimony itself right there.
Frank, who is the bands lead, he will take the worldly songs and change the lyrics to Christian lyrics. Both the kids and the homeless people really enjoy the music. Don’t get me wrong, the word of God goes out, and it does not come back void. They have recorded one CD titled “OUR GOD IS REAL”
